[Literature Library] Omega- 3 fatty acids and hypertension during pregnancy
The review analyzed the efficacy of omega-3 fatty acid supplementation (EPA, and/or DHA, and or ALA) on the prevention of pregnancy-induced hypertension or preeclampsia. Current evidence proposed that omega-3 fatty acid supplements are effective to prevent the incidence of preeclampsia in women with low-risk pregnancies.
