[Literature Library] The association between gut microbiota in early life and future body mass index

This prospective study found an association between early-life gut microbiota and body mass index (BMI) z-scores at age 12 in a Norwegian cohort, suggesting infant gut microbiota may have the potential to help identify children at risk of obesity later in life.
