A cohort study in China investigated the impact of short body height, pre-pregnancy overweight/obesity and undue weight gain on gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). It is concluded that body height < 158 cm had a synergistic influence with pre-pregnancy overweight/obesity on the risk of GDM.
