[Literature Library] Review on the role of two human milk oligosaccharide, 2’-fucosyllactose and lacto-N-neotetraose, in infant nutrition

This review provided insight into human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs), the third abundant component of human milk. It summarized current evidence and concluded functions and health benefits of HMOs. With increasing availability of the industrial production of certain HMOs, such as 2’-fucosyllactose (2’-FL) and lacto-N-neotetraose (LNnT), supplementation of these 2 HMOs were widely studied and considered safe for infant nutrition.
