[Literature Library] Coffee and endothelial function: a coffee paradox?

Coffee is the most widely consumed beverages in the world. To date, existing evidence has suggested a paradox associating caffeine intake with cardiovascular diseases. From molecular mechanism to clinical perspectives, this review examines the effects of caffeine on endothelial function which is thought to be the critical gateway to the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases.
