[Hot Science] Effects of conventional milk vs milk containing only A2 β-casein on digestion in Chinese children: a randomized study

Increasing evidence has attributed gastrointestinal disturbance from dairy product consumption to the proteolytic release of beta-casomorphin-7 (BCM-7) from β-casein rather than lactose intolerance. In this randomized, double-blind, crossover study, the authors compared the effects of consuming conventional milk as opposed to milk containing only A2 β-casein on gastrointestinal symptoms and changes in the cognitive behavior of preschoolers.
