Context-Dependent Competition in a Model Gut Bacterial Community
This report showed that context-dependent competition may potentially influence which bacteria can successfully establish and persist in the gastrointestinal system.
Context-dependent competition may be especially important in the GI-system since it is subject to a pulse-like nutrient regime where key resources alternate between high and low concentration.
