Dr. Barry O’Neill
Barry O’Neill completed his PhD in psychopharmacology at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia in 2008. After this, he joined GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in the UK and held various R&D roles over 8 years in both the GSK pharmaceutical and GSK consumer healthcare businesses. In this time, his research interests focused on the the impact of nutrients on cognitive function across the lifespan, primarily in adults but also in infants and children. More recently, he joined the Nestlé R&D organisation as a senior specialist in neurocognition, working closely with Wyeth Nutrition, and is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Dr Barry O’Neill has published across several disciplines in peer-reviewed journals, in the topics of neuroscience, psychopharmacology, neuropsychopharmacology and nutritional neuroscience.
