Factors shaping early development

This review article summarized current findings on the influences of various factors on early development, for example, how maternal diet and weight affect fetal development. The potential impact of nutrient imbalance on brain structure and cognitive development was also discussed.

Oral immunotherapy using partially hydrolyzed formula for cow’s milk protein allergy (NEW!)

This randomized controlled trial found that oral immunotherapy with hydrolyzed cow’s milk protein-based formula (pHF) may safely enhance tolerance to cow’s milk in children with cow’s milk allergy (CMPA), suggesting it may be a potential therapeutic strategy for this group.
