Human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) regulate the gut microbiome of Chinese infants (NEW!)

This study evaluated the dynamic changes in human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) and fucosylated N-glycans in the milk of Chinese mothers during the first 6 months of lactation, which found these components could help to shape infant gut microbiota and may be a part of personalized nutrition for Chinese infants.

A pooled analysis of growth and tolerance of infants exclusively fed partially hydrolysed protein-based infant formulas (NEW!)

A pooled analysis of seven clinical trials found that healthy infants fed cow’s milk-based formula and partially hydrolyzed whey formula had comparable growth in the first four months, while the later had more soft and few hard stools.
